A fun filled day of activities, entertainment, and food for the whole family to enjoy!

Children can enjoy Games, Pony Rides, Face Painting, and an inflatable Jump and Slide.

A Pumpkin Carving Contest will be held to include all age groups.

Enjoy a delicious hickory smoked Monroe Sausage Dog while listening to local individuals and groups providing music between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

Prepare and enter your favorite recipe using Monroe Sausage in the Monroe Sausage Recipe Contest.

Copperline

You won't want to miss hearing the band, Copperline, playing some of your favorite southern rock and country songs beginning at 1:00 PM and continuing until the festival ends at 4:00 PM.

Categories

1. Appetizer
2. Breakfast/Entrée/Casserole
3. Soup/Stew/Etc.

Winners will be selected from each category and an Overall Winner will also be selected.

Only recipes using Original or Mild Monroe Sausage will be allowed. Recipe must be submitted on the official Monroe Sausage Recipe Contest Entry form. The recipe ingredients and directions must be submitted exactly as the entry dish is prepared. Each person may submit a total of 4 recipes. Entries without the official entry form will not be accepted.

Dishes with Entry Forms must be turned-in between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM at the west end of the stage. Entry forms and Monroe Sausage will be available at Beatrice Meat Company at 2595 Grant Blvd. Ground (patty type) Monroe Sausage will be available only for use in the Monroe Sausage Recipe Contest. It will be available between October 9-October 12.

Pumpkin Carving Contest

Bring your own Pumpkin or you may purchase a pumpkin to carve at the festival. Your pumpkin must be carved during the event – no pre-carved entries will be allowed. Winners will be selected from several age categories. Pumpkins will be judged at 2:00 PM.

Dedication Ceremony

A Dedication Ceremony will be held at the plant at 9:00 AM on the day of the Festival.
